Anthony Kaye thought it was a great conspiracy to get him out of the game, and with all due respect to Anthony, the grounds crew does not determine when they're coming out.
It's the umpires, and there was no great conspiracy.
It was the fact that the storms were coming in, and they were coming in very quickly.
So the fact that they got the tarp on when they did meant that when we came back and started to play the rest of that game, they didn't have to spend 45 minutes putting diamond dry all over so they could soak up
some of the moisture.
That's one thing.
And also, you can't make a time, which is what was supposed to happen yesterday.
They talked about 2.30, the game was going to start.
And then you could plainly see that the warning track was like a moat.
So you couldn't possibly get ready in time.
