Yeah, well, it's been a long, long time since we have had a a real actual test of nuclear weapons.
A lot of this stuff does uh get done in algorithms and computer modeling and things like that.
Uh but that's very, very different than actually going out in the middle of a big desert or out in the middle of the ocean or wherever it might be to conduct an actual test.
Now there's of course all kinds of environmental considerations that might give people sort of conniption fits over this idea, but our adversaries are not deterred from doing these kinds of things.
And the most active expanding and developing nuclear program on the planet is in the People's Republic of China.
They don't have the the largest number of armaments at the
Point yet.
Russia and the United States still remain ahead on that score, but they're catching up.
But they by far are the most modern, tested, and rapidly growing arsenal of nuclear weapons.
And so this I think people would be surprised to learn that we have these silos, we have these stockpiles, but when's the last time people really thought about using some of these things and exactly how old we are?
Yeah, that I don't know.
And I really I don't remember this being a co a topic that was discussed that much up until recently.
It doesn't mean they didn't exist until recently.
It just didn't seem like this was something that was really actively talked about as potentially being deployed in combat or something that we should be looking at uh trying to build out, as far as I know, and I don't claim
to have read everything or talked to everybody about these kinds of things.
But you think the b the the kinds of people that we talk to, you'd have heard something like this a little bit more often if it was really a live idea in the last couple of decades.
I mean, I think when we went to war with Iraq in the Gulf War, there was a a question of what could happen in the broader theater.
Of course, the second Gulf War, there was the active conversation
Coming out of Saddam circles, where he was adamant about having nuclear capabilities, so much so he convinced his inner circle of generals, who then by human intelligence convinced us he had them.
And so, you know, there's there's been talk of nuclear capabilities in potential war theaters, uh, but it wasn't really until the Russia-Ukraine conflict that I really uh
