Yeah, especially the area, like Ōwhata, where I grew up, it's just like, yeah, that's like a lot of Māori, you know what I mean?
So you just grow up Māori, bro, just learning all the pepeha and language and all that.
And so, like, we didn't learn much Tongan.
Yeah, I think we were kind of like the only Tongans around.
We had a Cook Islander around there, but yeah.
And like, especially in our household, we're more like a British upbringing.
Yeah, I guess so.
But, like, I don't know.
Because I know I'm, like, a plastic Tongan.
As in, like, you know, I don't know all the dynamics of it.
Like, I know more Maori, like, stuff than Tongan.
But, you know, I just definitely want to reconnect with the Tongan side.
You know, just do the best I can.

language about it and like you know just little greetings you know all that stuff helps but the main thing is just like not um as long as you're not denying it i guess you know so yeah just embrace all of it bro because like maori raised me i've got maori brothers sisters like they're just a part of the family took a long brother you know i mean so tong is just another part of it so yeah it's all love bro yeah i mean try and represent everyone
