And then I think you have to have periods that you keep the ball from them.

Obviously, you don't want the ball to get to Olise and Dembele and Mbappe.

So if you can control possession, like a Spain might be able to, or an Argentina in a different way, if they get further beyond Morocco.

Morocco can even do it as well because they've got some good players.

Then I think you can cause them some problems.

Well, everything has to move forward, doesn't it?

You know, the purists probably want the game to stay like it was 30, 40, 50 years ago, but that's just never going to be the case.

So when you start getting things like VAR to try and help eradicate really bad decisions being made,

then it is going to bring another level of controversy.

And we've seen that.

Because ultimately, it'll never be a game that's black and white football.

There'll always be a lot of grey areas.

And when you add VR, you just have a second level of refereeing, really, on a lot of occasions.

It was brought into, as I said, stop the really obvious ones that a referee missed.

But unfortunately, it's starting to come into a lot of decisions now, not just the obvious ones.

So that's always going to be hard to manage.

And then things like technology in a football, a chip in a football, which tells you there was a touch.

There was a touch by the Croatian player and it does take away the romanticism of the game.

It certainly stopped us allowing... We would have enjoyed another 30 minutes of that game, wouldn't we?
