Which, you know, and I think you've been very accommodating because, as you know, I am long winded when it comes to writing. Yeah. No, I think I think, you know, we settled on I think almost I know all of the episodes are the length that they needed to be. Yeah. Well, they are very dialogue driven.
This is an audio drama. Well, those episodes are an audio drama. Yeah. Steve did the bulk of the audio drama episodes writing, although I did write some significant passages. I know I wrote a good portion of the dialogue of Slaughterhouse. Slaughterhouse. Because it, of course, entailed Kira's character. And I had a very specific thing in mind. And I remember, I think...
most of that i wrote in bed going to bed one night because it was like in my head and i had to just start spitting it down and or spitting it out and so i just stream of conscious wrote it all um and i just keep leaving kept leaving gaps for where the guys would maybe say something but uh because uh any of you made a joke of you'll see um uh but uh um
I think I had moments of that for a few of the episodes anyway, three or four of them where, like some of the latter stuff, episode 22 and 23, I wrote some of the dialogue around areas that I knew were important to me and all that kind of stuff. And then, of course, you would then flesh it out beyond that and add more and all that kind of stuff. But mostly you were the audio drama writer. I was mostly the narrator writer.
I think that worked well. I think so. I had a terrible job at the narrator episode I tried. You know, it just wasn't, it was a great story and it was still. Which one was it? That was going to be the collector, Rubberman. Rubberman. Right. So that was based upon a short story that you had written or had started writing at one point.
Um, and I still really liked that story, but it ended up becoming, uh, completely different, but it still has some elements of, of some seeds of that thinking anyway. But yeah, I didn't know it was rubber man. I thought it was creeper. No, that's a different one. But what you wrote was rubber man. Huh?
Yeah. Oh, you're right. Yeah. We already had Creeper written. I mean, mostly it was like Creeper was a different story. And it now is called The Basement. The Basement. But Creeper was a story that you had written or started writing. And then I said, hey, you know what? I'd love to contribute to that. And so I ended up contributing some stuff.
Um, but I think I was taking some of the things, this is like 10 years ago now. Um, I think I was taking some of the stuff away from what you wanted. And in the end, I don't think the story was ever finished, but it really created a sense of space and a setting and a, a setup, um, that we essentially pillaged and turned into, uh, a narrator episode. Right. But you, but what you would, the one narrator episode was, was, uh, um,
Which of the... There may be some changes to the order in the first handful. There might be. I suspect there probably won't at this point. But, you know, there's always certain self-doubt. Is this the exact right order in the first few? Just to make sure everybody gets the right experience with the show. But...
Can we say? What? July 7th? July 7th, yep. July 7th, Tuesday, July 7th. Three episodes. What do we want to release? Do we want to do two narrator, one audio drama? Do we want to do a narrator, an audio drama, and then a narrator? But anyway, let's move on. The caveat here is things may change. But after week one, episode four, Silly Girl. Right, Silly Girl, narrator.
And then episode five is Stull, Kansas. Yep. That's Professor and Selena. That's an audio drama. Right. And then episode six is The Taking House, right? The Taking House, yep. That's an Ally Monroe story. Yeah. She doesn't mean anything yet. Yet.
Um, but she will be more important as the series goes on season two, season three or beyond. Um, we keep mentioning this, uh, you know, we, uh, even though we have a lot of episodes in season one, we have a lot of future episodes also planned. Right. This is, this should be a big story should be, uh, it's kind of our, uh, I don't know, uh, the stand or something like that. Right. I, I want something really big and meaty and that's kind of what this is. So, yeah. Uh,
Episode six, taking house narrator. Episode seven, the taint house, the taint house narrator. It's a rough neighborhood. It is. There's a lot of houses you don't want to be going to. Episode eight is Lone Blue Light. The Lone Blue Light. That is narrator.
And then episode nine is Recognition. Also narrator. So episode nine, we will see Remy and Selina, younger, meeting for the first time.
And then we get to episode 10. This is one of my favorites in the series. This is Weird Explorations. Yep. Which is a Casey and Dante and Anjanette story. Yep. Weird Explorations is the title of Casey and Dante's podcast. And so we kind of see them following up after the Crestview, talking about...
You know, what they recorded, what they're producing, and then a lot more than that. By the way, that takes place in DeSoto, Kansas, not too far from here. That is correct. Not too far away from Lawrence either. No, uh-uh. Episode 11 is The Pale. Yep, that is a narrator story.
Then episode 12, The Lost Bridge. The narrator also introduces an important character. Episode 13 is... The Pale Part 2. Pale Part 2. Right. Currently on our Milanote board is called Pale Town, but we are going to rename this The Pale Part 2 because it is a follow-up, or at least it starts off as a follow-up to The Pale narrator. This is a Professor and Selina story again. They actually hear from the character from The Pale.

It's not a Case and Dante story. It's a Casey story. Yep. But that also includes Madison. Yep. And Hilda. Yep. And a lot of creepy stuff. Takes place in Salina, Kansas. Yep. Outside of Salina, Kansas. Yep.
