and so much and book series and other kinds of things. There's there's other podcasts with the same name. And I just couldn't get past the fact that there's going to be brand confusion. And so we kept coming up. I don't know how many different discussions we had and trying to come up with a different name. And eventually we just we settled on Edge of the Forgotten because this is kind of everybody kind of getting to that spot
getting up close to the forgotten so anyway so bear did not like my title suggesting the forgottening the the frapping part three um and this is a narrator story uh the forgotten uh this is actually a young and casey and dante story so we finally get their backstory
Episode 21, The Investigators. And this is where our team starts to kind of come together. So it is a Casey and Dante story, but features Selena and the professor. Yep.
Yep, yep. Episode 22, we're nearing the end. We are. So this was originally going to be a single episode, but it was way too long. So this is The Old Factory Part 3. It is an audio drama. It brings all of our characters, all of our audio drama characters, our core characters together as a follow-up again to The Old Factory, the very first episode of the series.
And then, and then episode 23, the world has changed. Yes. Uh, originally it was going to be the old factory part four. Uh, and like, no, we've already done that too much. So the world has changed. Uh, and you'll see why. Um, it's, it's more in relationship to, uh, our characters and what they discover. Um, but also audio drama, uh, closes out the, closes out the season. Um,
Uh, we do have a follow-up episode already partially written right after this, that will be a Patreon only episode. Um, uh, Casey and Dante, um, just as it was a quick aside. So originally Casey and Dante were characters from a different show.
And I'm not going to name that because I think that's too big of a spoiler for a future season. But eventually it was like, you know what? They could actually fit in this series. And then they end up going to the other thing. But Case and Dante, in my mind, were always kind of...
They were kind of Kevin Smith characters, clerks, right? The two guys shooting the shit, talking about inane things at the worst times or whatever. And that's what happens in the script that's currently partially written. That's the follow-up that will only be a Patreon thing. The guys are driving away. We see them discussing what has kind of happened.
Um, and it's just kind of two guys chatting along. So, um, and we're going to do a lot more of those kinds of things here or there. Um, they aren't core stories. Uh, the stream, if you, if you only listen to us through the stream, you don't miss anything by not getting those episodes. I wouldn't say it's completely unintentional, but it wasn't the driving force. The other one, of course, is that case and Dante often are what they call investigations. You know, it's probably very highbrow term for them messing around in old buildings and tromping through the mud and abandoned places.
Um, but they think of themselves as conducting some kind of investigation, you know, and so, uh, he is on the case. Right. And that pun also comes up. Thanks to Madison. Thanks to Madison. Yes. So, uh, the old factory, uh, takes place in Abilene, Kansas. So we've got Abilene, Kansas, Belleville, Kansas, Superior, Nebraska, uh,
