Well yeah yeah.
Well uh Paul B uh his motivation I mean he has spoken to us uh uh a few times before back and because because his life is a s a sort of life of um
as you know, as many loyal the guys who get involved in loyalist paramilitary groups, they end up all falling out.
They end up all getting death threats or a a shot or put out of the country.
It's it it seems to be, you know, that's just the playbook.
So his his the the the his motivation at this point in time is that we did a story with him last year when he he was having trouble with loyalists in Lisbon and he had to leave the area.
And afterward
His son was attacked.
Um, and his son was left with a couple of couple of bad bleeds on his brain.
And uh he wanted to get it out there.
These people have told us his son, Oh, you show your dad's a tight.
Um, Paul has f has uh probably has faced this for a long time, for years, where but he he he he claims, I can't verify this, that he ever since he got out of jail under the Good Friday Agreement in ninety eight, ninety nine, he
has uh when he he told the EVF he didn't want anything more to do with him.
His son had just been born.
In fact, his son was actually a you know a a May's baby.
He was a product of uh conjugal rights inside the May's prison.
Um when he knew he was having a son when he and he was getting out on the Good Friday Agreement, he wanted nothing more to the EVF.
He wanted to lead what he would call a normal, peaceful life.
He was a he was an electrician, he he had a job, he could do work.
And he didn't want to hang out.
