And I'd say, you know, if you're going to sit down to do this, you better buckle up your chin strap because you're going to find demons in your head, procrastination, so on and so forth, that's going to stop you from doing this.
And so of course nobody ever listened to me, nobody ever did what you know, they they completely blew off whatever projects they were.
And
But people kept asking me.
And so finally I said to myself, why don't I just write this down on a piece of paper, you know?
And then when someone asked me, I'd just say, Here, read this.
So that was why so the War of Art really came out very fast.
It was like two months or something, whereas a normal book for me is two years.
Um
So that's that's where the book came from.
It's a really diabolical force.
It it takes the form of a voice in our heads, right?
And the voice is kind of talking to us.
And we think it's our own self.
It's our we're logically thinking of something.
And but it's so subtle, like that that argument that it made to me as I'm working on the war of art.
It said, you know, you really shouldn't be doing this, um, spelling this out.
overtly, you should make it a metaphor and tell a write a war story and have this as the enemy, da da da da.
And that like like like you're saying, Rich, that was so subtle that I thought
You know, maybe maybe that voice is right.
