A lot of scouts consider him to be one of the more underrated centers in this draft class.
If he could find that offensive gear and really take over, he'll be in great shape.
Right now, what we're seeing, though, is a guy who's defensively responsible, pain in the rear end, in front of the net, because nobody wants to push this guy around because he's 6'3", over 200 pounds, and he's just pure muscles.
He's interesting.

He'll be around that range.
I don't have him necessarily as a first round prospect, but I get the argument for taking him in the first round, which is, you know, for me, I don't know if there's much offensive potential at the next level, but he's six foot seven.
He plays a really, really effective shutdown game.
He can get in the way.
He's got a great reach.
I really liked him as a fourth line center at the US National Team Development Program when he played at the U18s back in April.
And that's something that, okay, are you taking a fourth line caliber guy in the first round?
Is that risky?
This is a player I think is going to play 500 plus games in the NHL, no question about it.
And that's something where that's important.
Not everyone's going to be a star player, especially in this draft where there's a talent drop-off in the 20s.
But if you can get a guy who can play a lot of hockey and can play a bunch of different roles, that's where scouts make their money.
I feel it's partly because he focuses a lot on making sure he's really defensively responsible.
