Filtering out the people who are coming in in bad faith is how you can assume good faith.
That's it.
That's the succinctness.
I feel like there's a better way of saying that word.
But that is the perfect way to put that.
The concise way.
That's what I was trying to say.
And yeah, nailed it.
Love it.
Yes, because I love living in a community where I can assume good faith and operating my life that way.
But yeah, you can't do that when you've got snakes in the garden.
So once they're weeded out, then you can go back to doing that and enjoying life again.
Yeah.
To be nitpicky, I think I would say that making sure you're using words correctly isn't actually being pedantic.
But I do see cases where people are like, oh, well, you missed this part, therefore the whole thing's off or something.
I don't know.
Imagine somebody making an argument against...
AGI concern because I gave the wrong number of whatever petaflops per second that the server farms can do and I was off by a factor of two.
And it's like, that does not invalidate the broader argument that I'm making because my argument doesn't rest on that number being precisely accurate.
But I can imagine somebody saying, well, you were wrong here, then we can throw the whole thing out.
