But instead they choose like this weird fake one.
And I think what it might work to do is convince people to say, you know what, I will start arguing against AI stuff on actual grounds.
Or environmental concerns.
This poster was another one that I read where it was like, because I did some of this research myself a few months ago, but people put together better reports than I did about the energy requirement to use these things.
So to train GPT-5 or whatever, 4.5, whatever it's out now,
You could power San Francisco for a few days with the amount of energy that that took.
Maybe it was a year.
It was some colossal amount of energy to train it.
But once it's there and running, it costs like nothing energy-wise.
100 ChatGPT queries is like driving like five miles in a regular car.
And so I would just love somebody to be like, Steven, how could you use Claude all day?
It's so bad for the environment.
I was like, I don't drive to work.
That's how I can guilt-free know that I have less of a carbon footprint than you do.
But I'm feeling oddly combative.
I think it's because I just don't like bad arguments and that raises my hackles.
But I don't know why I'm imagining so many fake arguments with people.
I'm not pro-AI.
I'm pro-truth.
