I mean, it paints an awesome picture that is, and this was true with the snake post on its own too, that gets disconcertingly more and more plausible the deeper you get into it.

I mean, the closest I could think of is more addressed in this post than it was in the snake one about why did it take snake venom to wake up our ancestors, but not us?
