look I don't think that that's necessarily the case David I mean I have the I guess the benefit of being able to see Josh in action every day that I come into the club I'm here now he's already here you know looking through the review for later today so I don't think it's going to be purely win or loss and that hasn't been the way that we've wanted to approach his time as the interim senior coach I asked him to

to do the job, uh, in order for the season to not be wasted.

As many people were saying at the time when we, we made, um, well, sorry, the decision around Michael's future was made.

Um, yeah, clearly winning games, the last five games, if you'd asked me that five weeks ago, would we be in this position?

We thought that we'd end here, but all I can say right now is he's doing a great job and I'm sure that he'll be our senior coach in the future.

I'd like to think that I'm reassessing regularly, David, but I don't feel like I'm ultimately getting to a different decision with that.

I think our VFL staff of late hasn't in any way been favourable from whether I'm happy or not with that.

I still think that there's a fair bit of stuff that we can get better at and

I guess this is the one job within the club that can't necessarily be riding the wave of euphoria around five in a row.

And even that's not where we want to be in the future.

We want to be not having these sort of great feelings about winning five in a row because it becomes a bit more like what we should be doing.

But I think the output from an AFL perspective has been great and

It's been fantastic seeing some of the young players come into the team and perform reasonably well.

So that's been a massive tick.

I still think we've got some work to do.

Well, I mean, look, Graeme and I, I guess you've got two people there.

Graeme, who has been a fantastic list manager over his time.

I've been around the place in the competition for a decent period of time we've still got people in our recruiting department who have a great deal of experience we've got Glenn Luff who's a former list manager we've got Paul Brodie who's a former national recruiting manager so we've got enough people in this department that I'm still really comfortable with we are looking to replace one or two roles in that area and that'll be done over the next period of time
