I'm not sure anybody accuses Pep in his first season as a manager of being a serial winner.
Sir Alex Ferguson questioned that decision in 1994.
when, well, two years, three years into his tenure at Manchester United, I'm not sure at that point anybody calls Alex Ferguson a serial winner in 1994.
We do that later on.
So to say that Arteta is somehow in a different position from where they were
in those respective positions, fine.
Now, again, if you want to question Arteta signing Kepa, that's a fair criticism.
This is the same manager that sold Emi Martinez, that sold Ramsdale, that sold Ben Leno.
You could question that all you want.
But that's a different conversation altogether.
So he questioned the 94 final.
I hope it toughens them psychologically.
That they understand that they can't take anything for granted.
So much has gone... I say so much has gone in their favour so far this season.
And I'm almost thinking of everybody as kind of falling by the wayside.
But they understand...
maybe how fragile even that six-point lead is, that they have to be better because, let's be honest, they have not been good.
And it makes them more resolute going in for this title run-in.
Well, it was a final, but one less thing to worry about.
