Yeah, in New Orleans. And so this whole event, it wasn't a church event. It was in the Superdome. Yeah. And the sponsor was Budweiser, and they had a banner. My dad was speaking there. right in front of the banner that said Budweiser, the king of beers. And so everybody's drinking. I'm pretty sure you and Phil were the only sober people there. Correct. If not, it was a small percentage.
And it was that moment that you told in the story when Phil reached and grabbed his Bible after the duck call thing. They were all, everybody was cheering, you know, and drinking beer and It's all fun and games. It was all fun and games. And my dad had that moment of clarity. You described it real well, Al, where it's like, should I do this or not? And he picked that Bible up and he said, yep.
You see this behind me? Budweiser, king of beers. He said, I've drank them anyone. He said, but I need to do you right as a fellow human and tell you about the king of kings. And that was to me in that moment, he drew a line early on. for our family that no matter where we're going to be, this is, this is spiritual warfare. These people are going to die and they're going to be lost for eternity.
And over what? A few beers and just having fun.

I've got a problem with this for one reason, okay? If the woman that I choose to spend time with does not like my parents, she probably ain't going to last long.

I'm serious. But, you know, my mother had told her because, you know, I was very immature. You know, so me and my mom was like this. Okay. I'm the baby boy. So anything that has to do with anything, I always talk to mom. So I actually talked about mom and, you know, about my, hey, well, I'm thinking about marrying this woman.
Yeah, so I just look, and I tell Christine a lot of the times, you know, what did you think about when I'm going to go talk to my mom? She said, well, you told me how close you was to your mother, so it didn't bother me.
Yeah, so, hey, but I just, you know, if a woman, you know, it's stupid enough to say i don't like your parents no she likes them she likes them the parents don't like mom don't like her because she tends to lean a certain direction i didn't say she leans in a certain direction just just has some conflicting views um
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm just saying, it sounds like, uh, your parents and this lady needs to sit down and, uh, uh, you know, work these issues out.
Hey, you three people need to work this out because I'm thinking about keeping her around.
