I would never want to have another conversation with anyone who knew who I was again in my life.
And that's probably the best side of how I would react to a situation like that.
But I think one of the things, it's been interesting, and I'd love to, your journey through this I'm sure has been really fascinating as well, but I've talked to a lot of people about this particular case who had more sympathy and understanding for Lindsay Clancy than I would have necessarily thought.
And it's because, you know, because I think, you know, particularly women connect to the idea of postpartum depression and the idea of these mental health struggles that were real.
She did seem to really try to get help and all of this.
And I get that.
Of course, there's the, you know, they all didn't kill their children.
So there's a massive difference between these two stories.
But at the end of the day, if your wife comes to you and is admitting that and is seeking help for that type of thing,
That's I can't even imagine my wife saying something like that to me, just saying it once, let alone checking herself into treatment for it.
If that happens, there's absolutely not a second that goes by that she's with those kids.
You can't at least for years and years and years and years to the point that maybe to the point that where they could defend themselves.
Right.
Maybe they're adults before that
happens.
Yeah, that's exactly what they're trying to do.
Megan, I come from maybe an old school line of thought that if you are a lawyer and you have a client who's admitted to murdering their three children, you pray for a mistrial.
That's the thing you're hoping to get to.
The fact that there was only one guy here who is actually holding the line on you can't kill your three kids and get off for it is like...
a massive change, I think, in our entire civilization.
