And that's one of the big things that they're going to have to address, either by automated, like where the charger plugs itself in, like some kind of a robot arm.
That seems unlikely.
I suspect a wireless solution is where they're going to end up.
But what that's going to look like, how much it's going to cost, will they even sell it to consumers?
All of this is up in the air.
But if you want to enjoy a cyber cab ride today, you can.
Get a plane ticket, fly down to Austin, and you can hail one and ride around the city.
So the cybercabs are there.
They're also in Florida as well.
They're not running yet.
They have been filling up lots.
The Model Ys are running around there, but California still requires the safety monitor to sit in the driver's seat, and there is no driver's seat in a cybercab.
So until they fix...
the legal thing with California, I suspect Florida will be next because Ron DeSantis has already come out in full support of these things.
He even did a little press conference the other day with Waymo, which I'm sure you've seen those, and a cyber cab both at the press conference where he was looking at them and showing them off and representatives from both Waymo and Tesla were there.
So he's all in on this.
