So cold weather is a is a stressor.

And what it does is uh skin receptors send a message to the hypothalamus again.

Uh and what it does is it releases

A form of adrenaline which raises heart rate.

raises breathing rate.

Raises uh blood pressure.

And

Then it triggers a physical reaction, little micro vibrations, contractions in the muscles, which generate heat.

The key here.

For all spresses.

Whatever the stress is, is the kid's heart rate goes up.

The kids breathing goes up, the kids uh blood pressure goes up, um, arteries dilate, and so on.
