He's gotta sit there.
So it gets even worse.
That triggers another system deep inside the brain.
I won't go into it now.
He is burning.
A huge amount of energy sitting there, knowing that he's not allowed to leave, knowing that he's not allowed to cry out for help.

the monitors that we used in the science lab, we would see exactly what's a stress.
That's how we we could tell.
Uh we because we were hook it hooked it up to their brain and to their body.
And we could see their heart go up.
We could see their muscles getting tensed.
