President Trump expected to name former Federal Reserve Governor Kevin Walsh this morning as the new Fed chair to replace Jerome Powell.
President Trump had considered Walsh for the job eight years ago, but wound up selecting Powell.
He and Powell have not seen eye to eye in recent months, with the president accusing him of moving too slowly on lowering interest rates.
Powell's term ends in May.
And President Trump declaring a national emergency over Cuba, issuing an executive order that threatens tariffs on countries that sell or supply oil to the embattled communist island nation, move especially targeting Mexico oil supply lines, and designates Cuba as a state sponsor of terror.
