And there have been lasting consequences.

And she has kept those consequences a secret for most everyone, including most of her own family.

So Cirque and Anne are totally different, but they're actually oddly similar.

They both don't want to talk about the past at all.

And when they meet, I think each senses that the other isn't maybe going to ask too many hard questions because they don't want to be asked those questions.

So they kind of take shelter in each other.

But unfortunately, their temperaments are not gentle.

Neither of them is a very gentle person.
