I suppose a pathway or a plan or a vision for how you get there.
Whereas for Paris, they knew exactly what they were aiming for.
They knew exactly what they had to do.
And I presume qualification for LA twenty eight will come up relatively quickly.
And if you miss the first round of that, suddenly you're in a you're really stuck.
So I remember when the men were qualifying ahead of Paris, they had to win against France last minute in a competition in Poland.
And if they didn't win, they weren't gonna be in the Olympics and and somehow they
managed to beat France, which wasn't easy to do.
France were a c world class team.
So if Ireland fall into that situation again with the women and they're banking it on even if they get all their best players back, they're banking it on one tournament.
It's it's never gonna be easy.
Um and I don't know how much
Focus is going into the women's programme, as I said there, and as Anna said, there's certainly a priority on the fifteenths, which is a good thing.
And it's interesting because I would have been of the opinion that
they would struggle to coexist.
Because if you have your best players always hopping between two teams, how are they ever gonna find, I suppose, the integration they need, know the game inside and out, know the players inside and out, and be fully focused on success in each one.
And I would say that since a lot of the girls have moved over from the sevens and been more focused on the fifteens, the fifteens has definitely prospered.
And you can see that in their results.
