So I was surprised to hear Anna say that, but I mean she's the one living it day in, day out.
She knows what it's like to flick back and forth in between the two codes and obviously she thinks it was possible.
Yeah, imagine what that would do for Henry Pollock's brand if he was representing G V at the Olympics.
It would be huge.
Um and you look at Antoine Dupont like he's achieved a lot of what there is to achieve in rugby.
Obviously he hasn't ticked off that World Cup, but you know, he's done a lot and he still wanted to represent the sevens.
He wanted to win an Olympics with France.
That was a huge thing for him.
And women's rugby at the end of the day is you have to focus on your brand.
I mean, you say not Anna McGannon, I'm sure that's not her priority.
Her priority is obviously to play rugby for Ireland and to play rugby well.
But we know she's on TikTok, she's very good at it.
She has a deal with Canterbury recently after the World Cup, after she blew up on TikTok.
Like that is important because you're at the end of the day, you're not making as much money as the men, and you have to finance that somehow.
She also has a jewelry label called
Chaos.
So she's doing lots of different bits, but it is really important and as you said, the Olympics would be a massive part of that.
But I think aside from brand, I think people still athletes still view the Olympics as the pinnacle of sport.
Um I know my own brother who has been twice, it's like he hasn't reached the heights that a lot of other rugby players have in fifteens, but it's still the ultimate thing walking around the Olympic village, being amongst the best of the best in every
sport is something you can't top.
