insane and in 2023 the English and Welsh head coaches were let go just before the Six Nations and they had a World Cup in 24 so you know less than a year or a little over a year away and there was one international coach who wanted to stay anonymous which is completely fair enough I think in that article but he said it's becoming more and more like football it seems like no one's job is safe anymore and then I was reading another kind of guy over in New Zealand was talking about how it's turning into the Premier League and
This isn't the way we want rugby to go.
So I definitely think people are nervous around it.
I think why it's different this time is, as I said, New Zealand have been on such a good run.
Yeah.
And it's still happening.
Yeah.
It's like, what do you have to do?
Like if behind the scenes isn't clicking or if the style of play or the culture isn't clicking, results maybe just don't even matter anymore.
It's all about the long, very, very long term.
And that's where it's like, is it fair?
Because I think in New Zealand's case as well, before Scott Robertson, they had a head coach called Ian Foster and everyone was calling for him to be fired ahead of the 2024 World Cup.
Like he was public enemy number one in New Zealand.
And yet, because he had the support of the players...
Crucially, they also hired Joe Schmidt as assistant coach, so that probably pulled them over a little bit.
But because he had that support, they stuck with him.
And they ended up reaching a World Cup final, I think.
Don't quote me on that.
But that just shows...
In that case, because he had player support and he had powerful people's support, they stuck with him.
