And then at some point we left the room.
And then I asked my friend to go back in with me because I wasn't ready to leave.
And so, like, this woman that I didn't know that well, she went back in that room and she stood with me, like, with my dead son, her son's friend.
And then at a certain point, it just felt like it was time to go and tell Kai that his brother was dead.
Because we realized that there was nothing we could do for William.
Like he was, he was dead.
You know, like we couldn't, there was no measures to take.
And I would have taken every fucking measure imaginable.
But there was nothing that we could do.
