I do not suggest this at all, my approach to this.

So I took a class at the DC Improv, which I will say, some comics will say that's hack to take a class, whatever.

I don't think it's very hack that I sold out the main showroom of the DC Improv earlier this year, right?

So-

you know it's been a seven year journey but i did it but i took a class and at the end of the class your showcase is on the dc improv main stage which is such a cool experience and i i don't know what it was i was too nervous to do any open mics before it which again i don't suggest

So the first time I ever performed stand up was at a sold out show at the DC Improv in front of 300 people.

And I was absolutely freaking out.

Not gonna lie, I killed it.

I walked directly off stage, went right to the bar and was like, I need a shot of tequila now.

And that bartender Louise and I are still like this all those years later, but I tend to get nerves actually more after the show because I'll be like, why did I say that like that?

Why didn't I follow up with this?

I almost get retroactive nerves, if that makes sense.

I was going to say, I should have said bourbon.

I knew that was going to come up.

Wow, it only took seven minutes.

That's amazing.

Funny enough, not at all.
