Well, it is the case that at the beginning, say a month, six weeks ago, we were hearing from the EU that this was not a major crisis of the proportions that we saw back in 2022 after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
And that was a huge energy crisis because
the EU is not as dependent on the Middle East for the import of energy.
But now what's happening is it's obviously competing in the global markets for this energy squeeze that's happening.
So we are seeing that price rise.
And we're also seeing maybe some people are saying that that indication of supply issues
We've heard some warnings about jet fuel, for example, in particular in Europe.
So we're not there yet, but there definitely is now concern about the long-term sustainability now of the EU's ability to withstand this.
It's all about how long this is going to continue.
But even if it did finish tomorrow, we're already obviously seeing the effects of those prices.
So also for the EU, of course, it's out of its control, a lot of what's happening here.
So getting ahead of it is quite difficult, as like everyone else, it tries to work out how long this energy crisis may last for.
