Good afternoon, Madam chair, members of the board.
My name is Kay Wallace and I'm the county strategic plan coordinator.
We're here this afternoon to give you all an update on implementation of our county four year strategic plan.
First, I will briefly remind you all about our implementation process and then two of our strategic goal teams will present sample portions of their actionable work plans so that we can show you all how we plan to achieve the objectives and our four year plan over the next several years.
This slide here shows the vision statement and the goal areas for our current strategic plan.
We do have eight goal areas.
Those are education, environment, government, mobility, quality of life, safe and secure community, service delivery, and smart growth.
And the board as well as the community can view the full strategic plan as well as our key performance indicators on our county strategic webpage.
As far as the execution timeline, the board adopts its four-year strategic plan, as you all know, by calendar year.
However, the plan will be actually executed according to our operating cycle, which is the fiscal year.
So this chart shows you, for example, that for year one of the strategic plan,
