So one of the things that the board is not aware, um, economic development and tourism has partnered with, um, department of transportation.

And as the Department of Transportation finishes off road projects within Route 1, they generally have slivers of surplus or residual land available.

And so instead of just letting that

land kind of go to the first buyer that comes in the door is the idea was to market that for assemblages.

So if we have a lot of times that the land is not developable, there might be easements.

But if you add it to a parcel next door, then that

investor could get potentially more density, which makes that project actually doable.

So in terms of efficiency, well, we've been working with the amazing county attorney's office and

Transportation.

And I think we've learned a lot in terms of when land was purchased, how it was purchased through these road projects.

And really I'm just kudos to, to their office because they're setting up kind of that process and they're, we're trying to do things proactively when transportation is buying future projects so that we're hopefully eliminating steps in the future.

Um, but we've all learned and I think we understand now the timelines associated with it.

Um, and then what we're hoping to do is actually, um, as transportation is

closing out sections of projects where there'll be multiple parcels of land that were collectively kind of going and doing that all at once.

And so instead of having to do these, these piecemeal pieces, which makes it very inefficient.

so we've learned a lot.

We're on, we're definitely on top of it.

We're, we're putting in those processes.

It takes, it takes time.

But I think moving forward, setting up realistic timelines with the investor is going to be key, making sure that they understand that there's a process that we have to go through that it's, you know, and it's required.
