They are targeting LaMonica McIver, and she is showing up every day and still going to work.

They have put a target on the back of the Federal Reserve, and the Federal Reserve is still going out there doing what they're doing.

And so all of the attacks that are being lobbed at our voting infrastructure, at black and brown people in this country, at the media apparatus, they're doing it because, and the proverbial they is the Republican Party apparatus at this point,

It is happening because they know the power of the people.

And in America, the people still have the power.

And in democracy, you need the consent of the people to govern.

And every single day, all across this country, even right here in this room right now, people are saying, I do not consent.

And that's really, really important.

Because the moment that you start believing the lie that we actually don't have the power, that there's nothing that we can do about this moment, we've lost.

And we still have the ability to win and to fight for this democracy.

And that's what we're going to have to do in this moment.
