You know, what are we actually teaching her?

That's not addressing the fact that she needs to drive to get her kids to school.
Like, we don't have a great public transport system in Townsville, you know.
It's pretty shit, to be honest.
It's not like Sydney.
So, you've got very vast areas to travel.
So, yeah, I'm just like, the impact that that would have had on her kids, and I'm not saying those kids are going to go to prison, but, like, they didn't even know their mum was going to go to jail.
Yeah, and you can't call them.
You can't, like once you're in the watch house being processed, there's no phone call.
It is hard.
You feel like you're never going to get out.
Yeah.
When you go to a prison, even though you know you're going to get out, you feel like I'm never going to get out of this place.
And everything is controlled.
There's no autonomy.
You lose the ability.
The longer you're in there, you actually lose the ability to
to know how to make a decision because you are not allowed to decide anything.
When you eat, when you wake up, when you get to shower, when you get to use the phone.
