Um, I will say it's interesting.
I mean, I've been reporting on physical AI for a while.
I know there are a lot of young people who are thinking about going into the trades.
It's one of the few spaces where there's opportunity or they see that an opportunity for great career growth.
And and this really kind of puts all that in doubt.
If you have a robot that can do a lot of the physical things that the trades once did.
and relied on.
Will there be jobs in the future?
Who knows?
It's definitely something I'm looking at.
And it'll be interesting what other countries do, what they invest in to kind of keep up.
I think the gap relies and you know, really again, physical AI and how we're starting to see governments think about what this means for manufacturing, which is, you know, quite a um expensive space, particularly in Canada with tariffs right now.
We're starting to see governments focus on how they can improve AI within their own country without relying on the US.
I think we're going to start to see more corporations invest in this
Type of robotics, we're gonna start to see honestly probably a lot of strikes and human pushback.
That sounds dystopian, but I can't think of another term for it.
Human pushback because robots like this don't require breaks, they don't require um you know paychecks, you know, they don't require boosted um income, they they don't need health care.
And so while people listening to this may think it's long in the future to worry about that, it's actually now
Now it's creeping up sooner than you might think.
