China is seeing a youth unemployment crisis and this is obviously not unique to the country.

It's happening within the US and Canada as well.

And so when you have, you know, what is an impressive um, you know, increase in the capability of robots and and AI, you're going to see more young people who have gone through education, who have spent the time and effort to learn these STEM skills without any type of long term job.

I I wonder, perhaps it's not a problem, but do you see that in the future becoming an issue and and could that lead to some form of unrest?

I think there are a lot of people who are cautiously optimistic that there will be a a deal at some point.

Um, you know, just recently, Prime Minister Kearney has started talking to the heads of other provinces, asking them um to put US booze back on the shelves for individuals who aren't aware of how Canada operates.

Many of our provinces have government-run liquor stores, and so that's where you can go to find wine, to find

Um any form of alcohol like vodka, et cetera.

And you know, during this this tense negotiations, a lot of government run stores have taken US booze off.

And so the fact that the prime minister is asking people to put it back on, I think signals that they're coming to some form of a truce, a deal.

Um Carney has always said that, you know, the tariffs themselves will likely exist in some form, but they're trying their best to get, you know.

as lowest of a number as possible so that it's not as damaging to the economy.

So I I think there will be a deal.

I don't think it will necessarily be the best.

We've we're already still dealing with the um aluminum steel tariffs that are are still currently in place, but I think we're we're just trying some

So the the problem is Trump has uh been quite effusive on social media, but that doesn't always um, you know, transition into something real.

So I think that there's something that's going to happen.

Carney seems optimistic, everyone s seems to be playing along.
