They're rethinking what is the profit and what does this mean for the average consumer?
Exactly.
And I must say that I was in parts of Asia late last year, including Taiwan, and just seeing how much investment, how much support AI has in that part of the world versus North America is also a little bit of a shock.
And I think that speaks to what we're seeing in investment as well.
In North America, people don't think R is invested.
It's an odd feeling.
It's definitely odd to see a country and area adopt new technology that quickly and some hesitancy in other parts of the world.
It's hard to describe unless you've actually visited, but I agree.
It's like traveling through a mirror to another world.
Exactly.
You know, those quote unquote synergies that some in the industry like to reference have been a talking point.
And I think that's also why we're seeing governments in Europe and also in Canada invest in competitive services, technologies, trying to broaden out the reliance that has existed for so long on the big tech.
I mean, it's interesting to see how tech companies at different stages of this AI cycle are responding, you know, what the winners are, what the losers are.
It's hard to know, though, what the long term plan is, because as we've seen, this is such a volatile industry right now.
Who's winning this quarter may not be on top the next.
So we're in a much better place than we were earlier in the week.
At one point, Toronto had the worst air quality in the world, and we saw some of that smoke find its way into the US.
But thankfully, we have firefighters, we have governments that are getting some advantage, and it's under somewhat control.
Yes, I think it's very hard for people who aren't in Canada to understand how devastating this is.
