It's a really big weekly fashion magazine, but it was quite big here for a while.

So I ended up connecting with Edwina who hired me as the fashion features writer for
And again, that just was my entryway into fashion writing professionally.
I'd written a bit for Harper's Bazaar as well and some other magazines.
Yeah, and then I was on staff at the Mags.
So that was like a couple of years I worked my way up to being a fashion features editor, met a lot of designers, a lot of writers, got to travel the world and, yeah, really sink my teeth into fashion writing and fashion commentating.
Amazing.
And that's where I kind of developed a love for not just runway fashion, but also celebrity and pop culture fashion.
And I think that's what Grazia was doing differently at the time was it was really doing a lot of commentary on celebrity fashion that wasn't like tabloidy.
It was more like an appreciation for, it was like early street style, what celebrities were wearing on the street.
And if you can cast your mind back to before Instagram, like I remember writing about
Instagram being a new app and this new thing we were all going to use like really it's it's a it's a long time ago it's like 2010 right so like 16 years ago that was kind of a new thing was rather than saying you know calling out celebs for looking bad on the you know in pat photos it was actually like oh Alexa Chung's wearing this and Nicole Richie's wearing this and so it was aggregate starting to aggregate that and do like an earlier form of trend reporting that I now do on social media yeah
So, yeah, anyway, my career took me from there to other magazines.
I worked at InStyle as a deputy editor.
I was the editor of Girlfriend magazine for a couple of years, a teen magazine.
And in between that, I've had various roles in fashion marketing.
I dipped my toe into that side of things.
I did fashion PR for a minute.
