Listen, people, especially men, y'all need to understand the trauma that women go through and what we have to go through when we're not believed and when we're the victims of these things, okay?
My mother was in that position many years ago when she was sexually assaulted by a doctor.
And because she was young and a single mother of color,
child, me, and whose grandfather, my grandfather, and her dad was a captain of the police department in our hometown.
My mother did not say anything because she felt the shame of what that would bring onto her and our family and stayed quiet and didn't say anything to me for 40 years.
But the Christy Blasey Ford Kavanaugh situation was so much that she said, I have to speak out.
So all of those people that judge women for not saying anything, do you know what that happens to them when they speak up?
So Susan Collins...
voting for Brett Kavanaugh after all of that.
She betrays us as women.
And then he went on and voted against Roe v. Wade and overturned our reproductive rights.
So yeah, Susan Collins is terrible.
But you know what?
That doesn't mean that we put someone who's equally as terrible in his character and who knows and untested on top of that.
Do we want another Fetterman?
This guy needs to be in therapy and work out his problems.
He doesn't need to be paid by the taxpayers representing the people of Maine in the Senate with that level of emotional instability and character flaw.
