Yeah, it took me many, many, many years to get my first crack on TV.
I'm sure anyone listening that is trying to get in the industry or is in the industry, they know how much hard work goes into it.
And I have so much respect for everyone who has made it.
I worked and still do work tirelessly behind the scenes.
I work, you know, long hours because I do outside work of the Today Show.
I give my time and energy to the NRL and other sporting clubs.
But it took a long, long while.
And I'll never forget knocking on, you know, on my EP's door and director of morning television being like, please, please give me a crack.
I will not let you down.
This is for my first ever live cross.
So they did.
I remember everyone.
It was in Brisbane for Magic Round.
I was 24.
So only two years ago.
And I remember everyone watching tightly on the couch or wherever they were.
And I was so excited to just get my first crack.
Like I felt grateful, everything like that.
I wasn't nervous.
I just knew.
