The little girl filming in the spare bedroom at home in Wollongong, pretending I was the weather host in year four or five would be very proud of me right now.
And then it just not blew up, but it got more frequent after that, after my first live cross.
That was in May 2024.
And then the end of the year, I got the call up for Summer Series to be the weather host.
And
I still have pinch marks to even say that, that I get to feel in to be the weather host on the Today Show and on for Weekend Today because the people that do it now are the best in the business.
And so, yeah, I'm very grateful.

Growing up and looking back on my career, I spent every weekend working, every spare moment working.
Like no one forced me to.
That's just my work ethic still to this day.
I have a day off and I'm like, okay, how can I work?
What can I do to improve myself?
Like where can I pick up a gig?
I'm just not normal, Sarah.
I love working.
My parents have a great work ethic that's been embedded into me as well.
