Kind of assessments of pres present day activity actually softened a a little bit.
Um and so, you know, obviously that will be highly sensitive to um to developments in in energy costs and and oil costs.
Um but yeah, a little bit of improvement um for the IFO service.

Yeah, so I mean markets are still reasonably well priced for a a September move from from the ECB.
I think the sense coming out of their their recent meeting was that you would need to get a pretty stark im improvement um um to to kind of, you know, see them not decide to to increase interest rates again in in September.
Certainly from Casimir's perspective, he kind of, you know, one of the one of the more hawkish voices on on the committee you'd have to say, and he was suggesting
uh that you know more you know another rate increase in September is is kind of you know pretty much penn penned in um as necessary from from his perspective.
And it's more about kind of if conditions worsen then they could need to to do more than that.
So on the hawkish side, but you know, not too different uh from from you know what we've already seen from from A C B pricing.
Yeah, so I mean, you know, it's it's a busy week, but we're still really ramping up.
It's another, you know, quiet twenty-four hours before we get to all the um, you know, three big central banks later this week.
We've got earnings from um from Meta and Microsoft coming up later this week as well, which will be key for that equity story we've been talking about.
But in the meantime, yeah, reasonably quiet on the data front, confidence from the US and in Australia.
Uh Michelle Bullock, uh, she's speaking um the topic of the speech.
There's monetary policy in an era of shocks.
Um, so I mean there's certainly plenty of potential there for her to give something away on on how they're weighing the competing uh um risks in the Outlook at the moment.
Although, you know, that's also very much the chance that she just kind of reiterates some of that framework messaging that we've heard from from Hauser and Hunter recently and kind of you know defers to the the August uh SOMP assessment without giving too much away.
