And you know, it's pointing to continued growth in in the second quarter despite those higher gas prices. matched

Yeah, that's right. matched

And so again, that kind of, you know, that shift in in the US towards that kind of net energy exporter status is is supportive there and helpful for that kind of export prices versus input prices, import prices mix. matched

We think about it from a terms of trade perspective. matched

But I think, yeah, it was certainly supported by by energy, but it it wasn't just energy. matched

So if we just look in the month, um import prices were were up one point nine percent. matched

That was above forecast. matched

But that was mostly fuel. matched

But even the kind of ex petroleum import prices number, that was up 0.7% in the month. matched

And I think just kind of suggestive that, you know, it is a little bit broader than just energy directly already. matched

And there's, you know, some some strength coming through in manufacturers' imports there as well in the US. matched

So we know that the Chinese PPI jumped quite recently as well. matched

And I guess this is just kind of similar themes that there is some inflation pressure echoing through. matched

through already a little bit more broadly than just the direct energy impact. matched

We got our um you know, we've obviously been monitoring our uh our spending data quite closely to get a handle on the the consumer response here. matched

And we've had the the April uh full monthly update out yesterday morning. matched

And yeah, as you say, kind of what that shows, it did show a a fall in spending down one point one percent. matched

So that follows a a strong increase uh last month. matched

And you know, that is really driven by these these swing in swings in in fuel. matched
