And it was, you know, pretty pretty popular.
It was kind of, you know, a bit over three times oversubscribed.
Um and I think, you know, I think this is very interesting because um, you know, what I think what it means is that, you know, markets will be watching this fairly, fairly closely, Peter Fulleton.
Our our head head of credit research has noted that kind of you know we will
you know, everyone will be watching how this goes in the secondary market over the next couple of weeks.
And if it, you know, performs reasonably well, then, you know, this might not be the last Aussie dollar issuance that we see from from those, you know, large hyperscalers amid this kind of, you know, this seemingly insatiable demand for uh for uh borrowing.
Um so yeah, I think this was, you know, certainly something that uh is significant and, you know, could lead to more of the same if it does perform well in secondary markets over the next couple of weeks.
So it's interesting.
Uh yeah, so certainly that's, you know, a something that has attracted a l a lot of interest from, you know, Uz Aussie dollar investors in including the super funds.
And so yeah, I think it just speaks to, you know, some of the uh positive attributes of the the Australian credit.
Yeah, so I d I think the the summary there for the FOMC minutes, nothing nothing new, no big new hawkish surprises, but certainly some of the the same sort of themes.
Um we saw that several officials favored an interest rate hike last month, so that's not really new news.
Um that you know we saw those three hawkish uh dissents uh at the at the meeting.
Um and yeah, as you as you say, kind of
you know, the uh policymakers there, uh, many said that they would need to see um that they would support tightening if in if inflation didn't come down.
And so I think, you know, that's nothing new relative to the previous messaging.
And I think what's important there as well is kind of since uh that that meeting, uh we've had a a run of US data that certainly hasn't, you know, tilted the scales in favor of uh a a tightening in in the near term, certainly.
And so if we look now
Market pricing for a September hike, it's a bit over one third priced.
Um, you know, the chances of a a September uh increase topped 70% at at the end of July.
