Like, I would have... Supernatural would be on my list for worst endings if they hadn't managed to bring it around the way they did. Like, that final episode...

You watch the last episode of Supernatural and a single manly tear slips down your face. Game of Thrones, it's not a single manly tear. You're bawling because what the hell happened? Yeah, well, I mean, it's a shame considering... You're screaming internally.

Well, you know, Aiden, what you have to understand is that, you know, Daenerys kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet.

Including the people writing the show who wrote the Iron Fleet in and then forgot that it was there. But yeah, so Yellowstone, I don't want to spoil for anybody who has not yet seen the ending, but for those who have, those who don't care, I... Around the beginning of Season 3, one of the characters, by the name of Beth, just starts to suck.

Like, she was cool the first two seasons, crazy, but in an exciting way. And she just becomes vindictive and stupid, but they keep insisting she's really smart. So the whole series is like, Beth is really smart, she's got a plan for everything, she knows what's going on, she's going to save the day.

And as you watch more and more, you're like, the only person in this family who has any idea what they're doing is Casey. And the only person in this family who has a competent plan to maintain any portion of the ranch for the family is Jamie. And Beth is actively working against everyone's interests, including her own. But somehow we're supposed to root for her.

Like Taylor Sheridan does not know how to write a sympathetic character.

Yeah, it's, I mean, the letter bomb not killing her. She was standing next to it. She's standing here when it blows up. It blows out the windows of the building.

Yeah. Which is fine. But I wasn't watching a soap opera. Yes. If you want to make a soap opera about Beth, make a soap opera about Beth, and now that's what we're getting.

You know, the only character who you could really root for, the only main character, has decided he's going to, you know, F off to his own little tiny ranch. I do like the way that they brought it around where, you know... I like that the way the show kind of ends is that the Duttons and the natives agree, all right, we both really care about this land.

We both want to prevent the industrialization of this land. We'll sell it to you guys so that nobody else can touch it, and you guys make it a wilderness preserve.

No, they got deeded back the East Camp.

I can't remember the exact number, but it was big enough.

It was like thousands. Got it. It was literally the exact wording was, it's too much for one man and not enough for a full outfit. But with the three of them, Casey, his wife, and his son, they can make it work.

um so all the ranch hands are yeah all the ranch hands are done they're gone oh wow they all did other stuff teeter went down to sixes so she'll probably be in the sixes spinoff um the older guy whose name is escaping me right now basically decided he said you know if he can't work at the yellowstone he just would rather not work yeah um so you know the the cowboys all had sort of good endings wait what about rip and beth where are they going they're getting a spinoff

They're getting a spinoff. They're just getting a spinoff. Van Life? Van Life? No, a ranch. Another ranch. A smaller ranch. Okay. I won't be watching. I might watch The Sixes show just to give it a shot because I like Jimmy and I like Teeter. Love Jimmy. And what's his name? Travis, the trainer.

Wait, that character is Taylor Sheridan? Yes. Well, now I'm not watching the Sixers show either. Why? Because I'm pissed at Taylor Sheridan. I'm going to look it up right now. I'm going to look up what this man looks like. He's finding out live on air. It is Taylor Sheridan. Yeah, you know what? No, I liked that character and now I don't.

I'm now convinced that that character isn't even a character. Everything you've told me about Taylor Sheridan now makes sense.

It also explains why he's the most wooden of the recurring characters. I will say I'm impressed with Taylor Sheridan's ability to ride a horse, though. Oh, it's very impressive. He's got me there. I can't complain about that. Yeah.

um credit where credit's due but yeah it's he's also generally a very good writer oh yeah he's great at movies i think the problem is he doesn't know how to write characters beyond a movie because 1883 he's he talks about it was a 10-hour movie cool it was good i gotta be honest if it had gone on any longer i think those characters would have started to fall apart
