I was like, hey... Every 24 hours, there's new information that renders the old information obsolete. So what am I going to do here? There's a week between filming and release. If we do a video on this, there could be stuff that comes out in that week that renders our video obsolete. So what do we do?

We figured this was the best way to address it because what I was able to do was watch some of the hearings. I was able to watch some other videos on it, read some articles. It's weird that like usually when something like this happens, you do a little bit of digging and everybody's freaking out over nothing.

Or it's something like the Chinese spy balloon where you're like, why did you not shoot that down? Like, as soon as you knew it was there. And then it comes out that they knew it was there for, like, weeks. And there were other ones. And they just decided not to do anything about it. And, you know, this isn't a politics show, so I won't go any further than that.

But right now what we're seeing is... About a year ago, we had drones popping up over Langley Air Base that appeared to be coming from the Atlantic. Then they arrested a Chinese national who had been flying a drone near Langley, but then it crashed, and it turned out he had got it at a Costco in San Francisco before traveling to Norfolk.

He probably was. I mean, there's a chance it was something nefarious, but as his lawyer, I believe, said, if he's a spy, he's the worst spy ever. Yeah. Which... Yeah. Considering you left a trail that allowed them to track you back to buying the drone in San Francisco, you're probably not very good at it.

I don't think that guy was a spy. I think he was stupid. But this...

it's it's not necessarily localized over air bases there these drones have been sitting right over top of residential neighborhoods they've also been sitting right near air bases they have been sitting near airports and it's also been nuclear power plants right nuclear power plants i believe um it's weird because you would think if this was espionage what's the point of sitting over top of a residential neighborhood what are you learning

So I was doing some thinking on it. There were four possible countries I considered as responsible for the drones. Let me know if you agree with this. But the only... I can't see any of our allies sending drones over us. Because... Why would they? Why would they? We have the Five Eyes, we have Interpol, we have NATO, we have, like, all this different stuff.

But somebody would know about it. Exactly. So I doubt it's any of our allies. There are some BRICS nations I could see, but Brazil is part of NATO still, so I don't think it would be them. Iran, however, Russia... If you look at some of the other countries that might have the capability, you're looking at maybe India, but they're again an ally and also what could they possibly be learning?

And then you go beyond there. Most of the other adversarial countries aren't There, because from what I'm seeing, these are not basic drones. These are able to fly for hours at a time. They are able to avoid radar tracking. In some instances, they've been able to lose F-15s. Like, granted, the F-15 is a very old aircraft at this point. It's what, the 80s?

You know, it's not a new jet, but it's a fast jet.

It's because they fly significantly slower and lower. They're going 100 miles an hour. An F-15 can't go 100 miles an hour. It literally cannot do it. So what's weird is that the 2023 ones... it seems like the military really couldn't keep track of them. They were genuinely confused about where these were coming from. Now it's, if you read some of the statements that are coming out, they're weird.

There are certain groups that are able to say, yeah, we don't know what that is. Like we genuinely have no idea where this is coming from. Then the Pentagon says something like, you know, there is no evidence that these are foreign drones or, Or, or these are not a threat. These are not a threat. Exactly. It's like the specific wording they're putting out is very, it's dancing around the issue.

Yeah. So, and I was, but I was thinking about it. I was like, all right. So right now, Russia is engaged in a very bloody war with a country that is can't wipe it off the map. The dumbest thing they could possibly do right now is antagonize a country that can wipe them off the map.

I mean, I also saw some like Russian propaganda accounts on Twitter talking about like, you know, how they're coming for like they're coming to retake Alaska. And they seem to have convinced themselves that that's what the Alaskans want, including the natives. And I'm like, I don't think the Inuit want you back.

No, considering that they only ever had like 5,000 colonists there total. And Alaska's current population has, I think, I think like a third of it is natives.

Yeah. It's one of the, I think it is out of every state in the US, the highest percentage of native inhabitants.

Yeah. Mike was our tour guide in Alaska. He was awesome. I think we still owe him more tip money. Did we ever send him a tip through the Lore Lodge? I know we tipped him individually. We said we were going to tip him through the Lore Lodge.

Happily. He was awesome. A little Christmas present for Mike, maybe. But, yeah, I don't think Alaskans want Russia back. Doesn't seem like something that would make a ton of sense, either. Also, we bought Alaska from Russia kind of as a favor. Remember? Remember? McKinley's Folly, I think they called it. Oh, right.

America was not happy about the decision until they discovered that there was a lot of gold and oil there. Ironically, had Russia held on to it, it probably would have solved the problem. They had not exacerbated it. But they were like, we can barely hold Crimea. Can we hold Alaska? No. If they had known about the gold, it might have been different. Anyway...
