Because I wasn't ever sure.

I got into stand-up and I was like, this is my whole thing forever.

And so to finally be in a place where I'm writing a book and kind of living the life that my 14-year-old self wanted to live, it was nice to be like, oh, I wake up every day and I have a routine and I have a word count to hit.

I really enjoy writing.

i fucking love that yeah well and that's kind of how i feel exactly that's what i'm saying i'm like i know everyone just wants me to write the comedian memoir essays book right and i can do that and i will yeah and then i want to write yeah the young adult fantasy novel let's do it and it's like once they know i can finish a book maybe they'll be more open to other ideas is that what you found yeah once you wrote a bestseller they were like yes

I was like, no, I thought it was actually pretty cool and humble.

I thought you'd be like, I thought you'd be like, thank you so much.

You know, most people insist on being on there.

And the people who don't even necessarily know your name will be like, I've seen that.
