I had a really good chat with the club and and we both agreed that it was the right time for for both of us.
Um
I also uh I I I've always looked at those players that have just gone on that extra year and I just didn't want to do that.
Um I've seen great players exit our footy club in the right way.
And I've also seen guys exit our footy club.
I reckon they if they had their time again may change the way they did it.
And I I want to go out with um full respect and trust of of my footy club and um set keep that pathway there for my kids if they ever wanted to come back.

Nah, he I I have been very, very lucky.
He's one of the guys that I I used to barrack and
back for when I was going for the Crows and then I got the opportunity to meet him and I missed him by a year.
Um but just being able to build a m amazing relationship with him and so much trust and respect with that guy, the way he goes about it.
And also, you know, the experience and advice that he's passed on to me when I was skipper of the footy club and um through some real challenging times.
Rooza he's got a massive heart.
So I
a guy that I'll have, you know, my phone book for the rest of my life.
Although he nearly killed he nearly he nearly killed me one year when he then when he flew in grand final day and gave the cup.
Oh yeah, in the parachute.
