And Artemis 2 and its crew have conducted a historic lunar flyby on Monday afternoon, traveling further from Earth than any human in space, surpassing Apollo 13's mission in 1970.

Artemis 2 pilot Victor Glover says he and his crew members can't wait to get back to Earth to show NASA and the rest of America what they've discovered.

Glover explained that he'll be thinking and talking about this experience for the rest of his life.

NASA is planning for at least one moon landing and potentially a second one in 2028.
