But the reason why we are talking about Thursday Night Game on a Raiders podcast is that two of the coordinators are going to be two of the top head coach candidates in this next cycle.

And we don't know if Pete Carroll is going to be fired, but I would say it's 50-50 right now.

So I think, you know, as a Raider fan, you look at those two guys and, man, they put on a great performance.

I mean, at first it was Chris Shula.

That Rams defense was dominating.

There was a couple plays where he just baited Sam Darnold into interceptions with great calls.

Made it look like man turned out to be zone and they got a pick off of that.

And they had kind of a cover zero blitz in the red zone that got Darnold.

And then Kubiak fought back and then he was calling some

really great plays to get Sam Darnold in the rhythm, getting guys wide open, building his confidence.

And then you get into an overtime game and it was a great call to, to get Salver into their backup tight end wide open for that two point conversion.

So, I mean, you just look at that game and you're just like, man, these are two of the top strategists in the game and, you know, modern strategists.

And you want a piece of that.

If you're a team looking for a coach.

Yeah, I absolutely agree.

And you look at those two teams, the Rams and the Seahawks, they are just absolute alignment on the type of players they're looking for, how to deploy them.

And if you're a defensive coach, you have to be –

you have to be able to hire.

You have to be good at finding who the young, talented offensive guys are and then hiring them to be offensive coordinator.

You're not always going to get that big name that you want because those guys usually become head coaches if they're leading offenses.
