During a recent medical appointment, a nurse asked my husband about his diet.
Dementia has stolen much of his language and he was having trouble getting any words out.
He turned to me and managed to say one word, rash.
Oh, God.
Immediately I replied, Mediterranean diet.
Ding, ding.
The nurse looked most bemused and asked how we got from rash to Mediterranean diet.
So I explained about your podcast and we had a laugh together.
