It it actually depends, but but there's some cases where it's been clear that

Usually in that circumstance, I suggest that they um serve objections or that you know offer to prepare objections and um they don't necessarily have to be filed with the court, but I'll often do a set of formal objections that cite to
um HEPA or part two as applicable and uh state law, um the s the rule of civil procedure that relates to subpoenas and state all those grounds that it's um there's not sufficient time to comply, that it's unduly burdensome.
that you can't produce um without a court order, those sorts of things.
And that um that tolls, if you will, the timeline for responding and puts the onus on the person issuing the subpoena to to go to court, either to work out an appropriate protective order and get it entered or to go to court and move to compel you to provide the information.
And that provides
a s a situation where you can discuss what you need in terms of a court order.
But um if if there's and if there's just too much if it's impossible to comply

then you know that's necessary to state as part of the process, but
Following those or serving those objections gives you breathing room and
Uh sometimes they'll pre follow through and get this order and sometimes they'll decide it's too much trouble and abandon the request.
