Well, I want to be remembered for the fact that my team's played hard.
You know, Courtney, I used to give talks, and I said the one thing I want to do, I want a father to bring his son to one of my team's games, and when he leaves the game, win or lose, whether it's in Houston, Anaheim, New York, when he leaves the game to say to his son, that's how you play.
That team out there, that's how you play the game.
That is my biggest – and I will tell you something.
Maybe – and I've got some great friends in the game, but maybe one of the greatest compliments I ever got came from Tony La Russa, who said, when I always knew when we played your team, you were going to be ready –
And you guys were going to play the game hard and play it the right way.
And I cannot get a better compliment than that, especially from one of the greatest managers that ever lived.
He's the best.
He's one of the best, man.
Well, you know, I will tell you, and I'll kind of defend Tony a little bit.
You know, we played him when he was in St.
Louis.
Yep.
He didn't get one hit against us.
Not one.
He didn't get one hit.
You know?
Oh, Jesus.
Yeah, he was still a great manager, but didn't get a hit.
That's actually amazing.
